The project promotes the value of leisure and family bonding moments as part of the recovery therapy.

PortAventura Dreams, which will host around 200 families from all over Spain in 2020, is a unique space designed for families to enjoy a free six-day stay full of emotions and family activities.

The initiative also involves top-level partners, such as leading children's hospitals in Spain, private companies, and other foundations.

PortAventura World, October 22, 2019 – PortAventura Dreams

opens today to welcome the first families. The village, which is expected to host 200 families annually, is located within the PortAventura World resort and aims to offer a unique experience to children and young people suffering from serious illnesses and their families.

With an investment of over 4 million euros, PortAventura Dreams is a different and playful physical space, but it is also an emotional space designed to have a positive psychological effect during the fight against the disease while allowing for new moments of family bonding.

“At PortAventura World, we want to bring real value to society and our environment. Our actions from the social pillar act as tools to combine all the company’s needs for change and sustainability. Today, as a further reflection of our values, we launch the PortAventura Dreams project,” said Arturo Mas-Sardá, President of PortAventura World.
